Ryan Madison is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City, originally from Lawrence, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology, with double minors in Film and Art History. Madison’s work explores the narratives of the Black experience, often featuring Black models to inspire and shape the conceptual frameworks of her images. Each image she creates becomes a space to celebrate and affirm Black identity.
